Welcome Spring 2018 Students!

Welcome to my blog!  You all have being doing great this semester and I am sure things will go smooth with your blog as well.

Just a few things to remember.

Always make updates and new posts to your existing blog.  The only blog I can see is the one you shared on the GeorgiaVIEW discussion board so if you create a new blog for each assignments I will be unable to see and GRADE these assignments.  If you have trouble posting to your blog, please contact me and I will assist you.

Blog posts should be original, that means you can not copy and paste material from other sites into your blog without giving the author credit for their work.

Logging back in Blogger!

Once you have created your account and completed post #1 - Your Introduction, log out of your account. Now, log back into your google account and select your blog. I have provided a screen shot below of what you should see when you log back into your Google account. Click view blog.

Work Ethic #1- Character

Create a new post in your blog. Write a paragraph discussing the assigned work ethic - Character. Tell me in your own words what the work ethic means to you and explain how you can improve in this area. No one is perfect, so please do not state that you do not need any improvement.

Label your post WE #1 - Character, like I labled this assignment.

Remember a paragraph is a minimum of 3 complete sentences. Compose your paragraph in Word so you can spell/grammar check before pasting into Blogger. You may not copy text from the internet; your post must be your original work.

Welcome to my Blog class! For those of you who do not know much about Blogger, it is a free service provided by Google that allows users to share information in the form of a personal journal. Click this link to about technology for a boarder explanation of Blogger and its capabilities.


Blogger is just one of the many Web 2.0 applications that we will explore in this class, so please keep up with your user name and password. You will log into your blog weekly to create new posts. Remember, I provided a user name / password log in week 2 in GeorgiaVIEW. Please use this log to keep up with your information. For class purposes only, I recommend that you use the same user name and password as this will help you access your accounts, but this is for class purposes only. For your personal accounts, remember to use a variety of user names and passwords to protect your identity and account information.

You are to create only one blog. Each new assignment will be added as a new posts or a gadget to your original blog. Please do not create a new blog for each assignment. If you do, I will not be able to see or grade your work. I will only be able to view the blog you submitted in Georgia View.

All Blogger assignments will be graded from your Blog and not from GeorgiaVIEW. If you have any questions or problems, email me in GeorgiaVIEW.

Now create your first blog post by posting an introduction for your readers. Tell your readers a little something about yourself and what you hope to learn about Blogger. Be creative, have fun, but most of all be respective. Label your post Introducting - Your Name
